I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and have seen a lot of changes. Some for the good, most for the bad. I thought it would be cool to have a site where people could post their memories of places, people, etc. of different things they remember used to be in Miami.

where is that? i know i've seen it just can't place it.
Wow! I've got a photograph of this that I took simply because "Austin" is the name of my second son. (I take photographs of places that have the same name as my husband and sons because one day I plan to make a coffee-table book -- just three copies -- one for each with those photos in them.) What a pleasant surprise to come up on this in your blog. Love your blog!

Thanks!
Right...I wanna say either US1 or Bird Rd?
It's on US1 just a bit south of 104th Street.
Swamp angel is that. A real snake in the back window
LOL, no...a friend of mine got it for me out west and told me to stick it on my dash, so I did!
SwampAngel posted that reply (me), but it came out via my other account!

Bought my first dive equipment there 43 years ago. You didn't need to be certified to get air refills at the time.
