I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and have seen a lot of changes. Some for the good, most for the bad. I thought it would be cool to have a site where people could post their memories of places, people, etc. of different things they remember used to be in Miami.

Austin's Dive Shop
Big Thanks to Melanie Aycock for sending me this picture she took of Austin's.
If anyone has any pictures they think might interest others, please send them on and I'll be more than happy to post them!

I too was born in Miami in 1948 have seen the best and the worst. At least Austins is still around.I used to go there with Art Pinder and last time I was there, there is Art's book selling in the store for 19.95....joe h.
In 5th grade at Coral Reef Elementary (back when it was an elementary school!), the whole grade went with teachers and chaperones on trip to Sea Camp in Big Pine Key. All of us were told to stock up on supplies at Austin's Dive Shop. I remember vividly picking out a mask and flippers! So glad to see Austin's has survived all these years later.
